ACTIVITIES

The main event sponsored by the TC on Biosystems and Bioprocesses is the IFAC Symposium “Computer Applications in Biotechnology” (CAB), which is held every 3 years.

This symposium series results from the merger of EFB (European Federation of Biotechnology) ICCAFT (International Conference on Computer Applications in Fermentation Technology) and IFAC Modelling and Control of Biotechnical Processes Symposia.

The 11th event, CAB 2010, was held in Leuven, Belgium, July 2010, in coordination with DYCOPS9. The next event will be held in India in 2013, in coordination with DYCOPS10. The chronology of conferences is as follows:
